Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 October 2026.
1. Who we are
vVvone Consulting (Pty) Ltd ("vVvone", "we", "us") is a marketing consultancy registered in South Africa and based in Cape Town. You can reach us at support@vvvone.com or +27 72 014 2363, Monday to Friday, 09h00 to 17h00 (South African time).
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of this website and to the services we provide. When we work with a client, we sign a written proposal or agreement with them. If that agreement says something different from these terms, the signed agreement applies.
3. This website
- The content on this site is general information about our services. It is not advice for your specific business.
- Results we quote, such as cost per lead or number of leads, come from specific client campaigns. They show what we have achieved, not a promise of what any campaign will achieve. Any guarantee we offer applies only as written in a signed agreement.
- You may not copy, scrape or republish the content of this site without our written permission.
- How we handle information collected on this site, including cookies and advertising tags, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Our services
- We plan, build and manage advertising campaigns, mainly on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), together with the tracking, landing pages and follow-up that support them. The exact scope, fees, minimum term and payment terms are set out in each client's signed agreement.
- Our fees are separate from, and in addition to, advertising spend. Advertising spend is paid by the client directly to the advertising platform, unless the agreement says otherwise.
- Unless the agreement says otherwise, a new campaign goes live only after the agreed setup fee has been paid and the client has approved the ad copy.
5. Advertising accounts and our software
- Your accounts stay yours. Campaigns run in advertising accounts registered to the client's business, one set of accounts per client. The client keeps ownership of those accounts, their data and their billing.
- How we get access. On Google, the client links their account to our Google Ads manager account, or gives us a user role on it. On Meta, the client gives our business partner access to its ad account, Page, Instagram account or Pixel through Meta Business Settings. The client can remove our access at any time.
- Our internal software. We use our own internal software, connected to the Google Ads API and to Meta's Marketing API, to report on, build and manage our clients' advertising. Only vVvone uses it. It is not sold or offered to anyone else, and it only reaches accounts that a client has given us access to. New campaigns on Google and Meta are created paused, and nothing goes live on any platform until the client has approved it. How we handle the data these tools read is set out in our Privacy Policy.
- Reporting and transparency. We report each client's advertising cost, clicks, impressions and results at least once a month, usually weekly, and give the client any account information it asks for. The client always has direct access to its own accounts and can check the figures itself.
6. Platform terms and policies
- Advertising on Google is subject to Google's advertising terms and policies. Advertising on Facebook and Instagram is subject to Meta's Commercial Terms, Advertising Standards and advertising terms. We follow these rules, and the client agrees to them for its own accounts.
- Authority to act. When we create or manage adverts in a client's accounts, we act as the client's agent. By giving us access, the client confirms that we may accept the platforms' advertising terms and make account decisions on its behalf, within the scope of our agreement.
- Platforms review adverts and may reject, limit or suspend them, and they change their products, policies and prices on their own terms. Those decisions are outside our control.
7. What we need from clients
- Accurate information about the business, its services, prices, service area and hours.
- Confirmation that every claim in the adverts is true and that the business holds any licences its services require. Clients in regulated fields, such as health, finance or law, remain responsible for meeting their own professional advertising rules.
- A privacy policy of its own. Where adverts collect personal information, for example through lead forms, landing pages or call tracking, the client must have its own privacy policy and a lawful basis under POPIA. Meta lead forms must link to the client's privacy policy.
- Customer lists. If a client gives us customer information to use in advertising, such as a list for Google Customer Match or Meta Custom Audiences, the client confirms that it collected that information lawfully, has the consent or legal basis POPIA and the platforms require, and lets people opt out. We use such lists only for that client's campaigns, through the platforms' own upload tools, and never sell, share or reuse them.
- The access we need to set up tracking, such as the website, tag manager, Pixel and call-tracking accounts, where the agreement includes tracking.
- Timely approval of ad copy and other decisions. Delays on the client's side move the launch date.
8. Ownership of the work
The client owns its brand, content and data. Once the related fees are paid, the client also owns the campaigns, ads, landing pages and tracking we build for them, and keeps them if the engagement ends. We keep ownership of our own methods, templates, internal software and general know-how.
9. Confidentiality and personal information
We keep client business information and account data confidential and use it only to deliver the agreed services. When we process personal information for a client, such as the leads its campaigns bring in, we act as the client's operator under POPIA: we process it only with the client's knowledge and authority, keep it confidential and secure, keep it separate from other clients' data, and tell the client without delay if we believe it has been accessed without authority. Our Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
10. Limits of our responsibility
- Advertising results depend on factors outside our control, including competition, platform decisions, the client's website, and how quickly the client answers and follows up enquiries. We do not guarantee a specific number of leads, calls or sales unless a signed agreement says so.
- We are not responsible for outages, policy decisions, billing errors or data loss caused by advertising platforms, website hosts or other third parties.
- As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees the client paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
11. Ending an engagement
An engagement ends as set out in the signed agreement. When it ends, the client keeps its accounts and the work it has paid for. We remove our access to its Google and Meta accounts, or the client removes it, and we hand over anything the client needs to keep the campaigns running. We delete the client's advertising data and any leads we still hold within 90 days, or return them first if the client asks.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of the Western Cape have jurisdiction, unless a client's signed agreement names a different law or forum.
13. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the updated version is published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Changes do not alter a signed agreement unless both parties agree in writing.
